Dreams

CG visuals of distant dreams.

Showing: Flow
Format: Animated loop
Year: 2021

Flow, animated loop by Retric Dreams: a lone figure on a bridge above a highway of violet light trails leading to a glowing city.

Nights that feel distant, and yet close.

Every artwork starts with an emotion. From there I build a place and a moment around it, mostly at night, mostly with music on.

About

I'm a digital 3D artist based in Germany, working with computer graphics since I was 15.

Retric Dreams is my personal exploration in digital art. It started in 2018 with a student film full of neon visuals and the synthwave music I found while making it. Since then I've been trying to capture dreamy, fleeting moments at night: moments of nostalgia, solitude and longing.

Based in: Germany
Since: 2018
Made with: Cinema 4D, Octane, Nuke
